I have my website Classiqa.com which is a free classifieds I get traffic from google and plus I have ppc campaigns running on google,bing & Yahoo. I have around 500 visitors per day and I want to increase my featured ads sale I have quit a few now but I want to increase the sales. How should I market my website so that i get a decent featured ads income. Please let me know your suggestions
You need to present the quality of your visitors to Advertisers. Show them that you get quality organic traffic. Run some promotional discount offers, Giveaway Review Ads. In this way you can have the word of mouth out, and people will come to your site.
A general classifieds site is a very generic niche. If you specialize then you would probably have more luck getting advertisers interested as they know who they're selling to.
I think its not necessary to have a niche website to get more featured ads, here one e.g. is olx they have strong marketing of their website and they get business from featured ads though it is a community website like mine.
