What are peoples personal experiences with using autoblog software on blogs as a means of making money? is it worth it?
Once you get the proper software worked out, yes it is worth it. One to avoid is wparticlefetch until they upgrade it.
I would only risk it on sites that you don't mind if they are deindexed by the search engines (mostly Google).
I've never really got into the autoblogging stuff. I'd rather have a handful of sites make $100 a day than to have 100 autoblogs making $1 each a day. Just my 2 cents though.
I don't think this is worth the effort...I like the traditional way. Set up a blog, write good content, get good ranking, monetize with affiliate marketing or adsense and you could even make bigger profits with publishing new products each and every time, like the Rhodes Brothers. They do it that way and they are making a killing with it.
I have bought a couple and some does the trick. It basically grab contents from other site and published it on your site and put a link at the end which point it to the original site. You can then put schedules on when to published it. But I only tested it for a week and haven't really utilize it yet.
They are not worth and dont spend time on autoblogging. I have my own script of autoblogging, have tried it too. Not worth.
I think its worth it if you get away with it, make sure you use a domain your not too bothered about and I would setup a fresh hosting account and use fresh accounts with google etc.
Hi Duncan, stay with "legit" traffic building methods. Dont get caught or risking getting banned for a website, which earns you money. There are plenty of good ebooks and videoes of creating """"automatic blogs"""", without doing anything "not rational". regards, LASSE
I have experienced some autoblogging stuff and it is not good! Yeah it draws spam bots but thats it...
Thanks for all the comments guys, really appreciate it. Can anyone recommend a good autoblog plugin for Wordpress?
WPRobot is the best autoblogging plugin IMHO because you can use it to make posts exactly as you would make them manually, therefore, no footprint. I would recommend using a mixture of autoblog posts PLUS unique content articles on the blog, that is what has worked for me. Don't go overboard with the autoblogging - I do just 1 post a day to keep things fresh. But, the real key is in the promotion and backlinking. I don't care if you have a blog loaded with a thousand unique articles, you will not make money if you do not backlink properly. Same with an autoblog .... do your keyword research and backlink properly and you can make money. Lee Oh - wanted to add that I had a client who had a totally unique blog that she slaved over the content on, then she started an autoblog .... the autoblog actually did better than the unique blog!
I prefer the traditional way.... write good content.... get more backlinks... place the adsense Adv. at right place on your blog.....
Thats great, but autoblogs can do all that while you sleep. It is great to have machines working for you.
Auto blogging is a great way to go! Got domains sitting around doing nothing? Make them autoblogs. I have a few and they do good, both for visitors and for money. And I never have done a thing to them since I set them up! Anyone that says anything negative about autoblogs really do not know what a good autoblog is all about.l.....
