My visitors are clicking on an image - what do they want??

    Hi,

I have a sales page. On the page is an image, a paypal button and some sales text.

    Uploaded with ImageShack.us

From my analysis I can see that a lot of people click on the image with the fishermen.

What should I do about this? People are expecting something but I am not sure what!

    Ideas on a postcard!

    Many thanks,
    Notting

But Better is to make that picture a hyperlink to your Buy Now page of paypal! :) Maybe, You will get some More sales! I hope, You will donate to me for the idea! LOL :D

I think either they are not understanding OR they want to see the larger images but it is impossible to find out the correct reason without looking at the real sales page.

My guess would be they want to see the image larger. Maybe add some lightbox code to make the image display how they think it should in their mind. Also, I would redesign the "Buy Now" button to something a little more personal to the site.

People tend to click in the most prominent spots of the websites. If your image is way big compared with the rest of elements, they will surely click on it more often. That's all.

redirect that image to another site, you will get more visitors, or make it so if people click the image it gives them a bigger view.

johnlennon2 is dead on, whatever is the most prominent part of your website (in your case the pictures) will get clicked the most! Add some javascript code and do some fun things with the picture, then see if your sales increase at all. Good luck with your site!
