I did my best but my site is still not indexed

What makes a site not to get indexed by Google in 2 weeks of social bookmark listing and backlinks adding? I see that even if I've added my site to twitter, digg, stumble (etc.) and linked it from a few of my other sites (PR3 mostly) it still didn't get indexed. I have two sites in this state. This never happened to me before. I have a sitemap and google downloaded it a few times. I add new articles daily.

In the past, when I linked a new site from one of my PR3 sites I usually managed to get it indexed in a few hours.

    The site is genuine admirer.

P.S. Also, today I had ~700 UV (from twitter mostly). Still, this doesn't seem to help.

That's pretty strange but here are some ideas:
    - banned domain
    - duplicate content issues
    - unstable hosting provider
    - google crawler being blocked by robots.txt or by your host

A link from Propeller and some unique content is enough to index a new domain.

The domain is not banned, I have no error in gogle webmaster central. The content is 100% unique. Hosting is stable, I have many sites and all are OK, I had no complaints. I've asked people to test the load speed for another site hosted on the same server and it is great. Also, the crawler is not blocked.

Now, from all these the 1st one is the most possible but, there is a question. Why didn't Google send me a notice in my Google webmaster?
According to web.archive.org the last activity was on Aug 03, 2008 and it was some sort of porn site. I have recently purchased the domain and did not know that it is a dropped one.

have you tried creating a google webmaster account and emailing google about it through that?

definatly seems to be some kind of penalty, yahoo seems to have indexed your site, however i would be worried about stuffing keywords like this into your meta tag

I would definitely clean up the keywords meta a bit. Maybe since the domain might have had some issues in the past and/or with the change in content since the last activity it might take a bit longer of consistent content to get indexed? Two weeks really isn't an eternity. I would post this questions on the boards through webmaster tools.

Your keyword tag definitely does not look good, also you should try work harder on backlink building, at the moment if my tool shows correctly you have just a few backlinks, if there would be more, maybe that could help you.

If you did your best and failed to get indexed I think it's time you hire a professional or Google some tips on search engine optimisation.

If your site is only two weeks old you need to be patient.

No man, most websites get ranked within a couple of days. If it takes more than a week then there's usually something wrong.

My bet is that it's been sandboxed and you need to put in a request for reconsideration explaining that it is no longer a porn website.

Also, clean up your code, dont stuff or anything close to BH or Bluehat.

    --> google (dot) com/webmasters/tools/reconsideration

    Sorry, that is incorrect.

You should allow to ~30 days to get a website indexed from scratch.

It is possible to get one indexed in as short as 12 hours it depends on where Google is at with their Bot cycle and how much trust the domain has.
