    In addition to the above post, I would also add Press Releases as a method of getting your link picked up by Google. If you have a newsworthy press release to share then you might create viral marketing on the back of it.

    Hi! I never used Press Releases. I wonder how it works and the results it produce.
    I use directory listings, as well. 10 directory listings per day, if Iam not on the forums.
    ...and do backlinks slowly... I do 10 links a day...it seems safe way...Google(Big Brother) is watching...hehe
    This is right that good content will procuce links. But, somebody have to see this content first.
    So, you have to make link building, especially in the first months of website promotion.
    It's never enough.
