    Taking into account that most social bookmarking sites now use "no-follow", it is less important than what it was before.

    From last few years Bookmarking sites are not effective. Most of them are using NO FOLLOW attributes for sites. So you will not able to get good backlinks or relevant visitors. Its will help in increasing traffic for sites and nothing else.

    Bookmarking defines the quality for a particular website. This differentiates it from other website. Bookmarking take some amount of time, this mean that the person who bookmark it has found something worth in it for the necessary time to be invested in it.
