Just wondering what are the common complaints some of you have had from your clients and how you overcame them.

They give me an article (what they think is an article) and want me to submit it to the world using my system...

But, a lot of people out there don't know how to write an article... An Article is supposed to be informational and NEVER read as a sales pitch or sales page.

Now, how do I overcome the issue - I tell them, I will write the article... Easy Fix...Otherwise, I have never had any complaints at all.

I had a client once who would randomly pick a word / phrase out of thin air and ask why their site didn't rank for that phrase. Explanations followed and they were absolutely fine. To be honest I've never had any terrible / arkward requests.

I had one guy complaining when I told him that could not beat Amazon for the "books" keyword. The nicest thing he told me was "incompetent". I responded that if he gave me $50 million, I could beat Amazon in English, but for just $250k I would beat Amazon in Spanish (because Amazon doesn't have a Spanish site, but I didn't tell him that ;) ). Oh, he didn't give me the 250k either. :(

You get complaints from your clients when you don't meet their expectations. This is the normal situation to any business whether online or offline. Though you are an established SEO if you fail to make your client explain situations properly and you do it by yourself, it might turn as a complaint even though you generate benefits to him.

I would say that establishing a client's expectations up front will help on delivering what they expect from your product or service. Definitely map out the course of action and keep them abreast of the results as they take place. Definitely hard to overcome when writing, content, etc. isn't exactly up-to-par.

I have the same problem - every time I try to explain the client that SEIO provess will never bring fast results because it is a regular and contemporary process, but he doesn't want to understand this at all:(

    Hello Friend,

Client always asks question for traffic , he always wants more more traffic and keywords ranking, he always to get top ranking and always asks when he will come in top , that means he always gets ranking in less time.
