NO backlink but top ranked on google

I just seen a website which have no back link
but the website is on the top rank on google
my website have 96 back links
but it ranked on 400 th page on the Google

Can any body give me suggestion on this topic ????????

Give proper attention towards onpage , because i have also a website which has no back links but coming in top position.

 

I think the site is amazing and is really seo friendly to get top rank on google without backlinks. Maybe the site was properly optimized in terms of on-page optimization.

 

Well that's quite amazing.
It matters to the quality of the site too.The site may be ranking due to its huge traffic.

 

Its depend on keywords competition if you haven't competition so it get rank quickly but may be your other website which is on 400 position in Google may be that have much competition so you need to do seo regularly and hope it get rank.

 

On page optimization is really a big factor. I hope I can have a site that doesn't require much backlinks too.

 

Backlink is not the only factor which give help in rankings, so may the site which you are discussion here have other seo factors very strong.

how old your site is? compare domain age with your competitor site. Is your website fully optimized? on page optimization is must to make your website search engine friendly.

 

Your keywords may contain copy paste content from other websites, this could be one reason your website knocked down your rankings.

Your keywords should be original and general terms must not be used.
