Eight current and former Bell, California, city officials arrested

i don't live in California,but i'm happy to hear the news today.
i first heard about it when the news first broke about the corruption.

they served the arrest warrant to the mayor house with a battering ram and knocked down the door like it was a crack house. hehe

 

What a lovely turn of events. The city council refused to step down in light of all this crap, but I personally think jail time is much more fitting. 125 years ago, there would have been nothing to prevent the mob from stringing them all up.

 

i hate city council,they vote in favor of what benefits them.
i lived in a city the size of Bell and that's what they do,but at least they didn't vote to get payed more then 10x what they should be.

hanging is not a bad idea,but looking at the mug shots,they're all fat...might be messy.

How many more are there?......national, state & local and in the bureaucracies - pentagon appropriations and contractors - energy dept. etc. etc., no doubt Billions. Probably enough to balance the budget.

 

And guess what? All those Bell California officials that were skimming the system and illegally gorging themselves on taxpayer dollars - they are all DEMOCRATS!!!!

Hmmm... I wonder why none of the California papers have seen fit to mention that. Could it be that most newspapers are run by (gasp!) liberals?

Only CNN, Fox, and the Daily Show have mentioned that these corrupt pigs are all Democrats.

 

These are just the ones that got caught.
