Selling High Traffic Facebook Resource Website

Discussion in 'Sites' started by extremehardware, Sep 21, 2010.

Here we have a high traffic Facebook resource site with a lot of potential to continue to grow and expand, and overtake its competition. The only website and domain included in this particular auction is one listed in this sale (as there are others which are similar but separately owned).

I have honestly put very little effort into properly monetizing this traffic generator, since I've been hung up on a load of other projects, but with the right SEO and the right advertising (preferably something better than Adsense), this website has the potential to create some serious revenue.

If you have any questions regarding the website or the sale, please feel free to let me know in a PM.

Can I have more information on the traffic, through a screenshot or something?

What about they are trademark buddy, they will take the domain when it start getting traffic soon or latter. So if I buy and they take it can you refund the money.

I did not even think about that, I mean this website has been up for a long while, and other sites like it. I highly doubt Facebook would take the initiative to take the domain for something that is helping their users better use their own website. However, I understand your concern, and therefore, I will refund your money if Facebook does decide to take action, but only within six months after the sale date. Any more than that would just be dumb on my part, as I would have made that sum of money had I held onto the site in the first place...

...With a little bit of effort, this is a real money maker, and has literally no maintenance once you optimize the SEO and ad placements... it really is a steal, I've been in the web mastering world since early 2005, and I can assure you that whoever buys this will be happy with their purchase.

I'm pretty sure it is alright. If you look at a similar website to his which is the main competitor, that website has been up since the end of 2009 and the site has been okay in the months that it has been up.

Well if the domain had the word "facebook" in it, the website could have very well dealt with a lot of things other than Facebook chat smileys, as in something that detracted from their interests... I wouldn't think they would attempt to take a site that actually promotes and assists its users in utilizing their own website, not to mention all the legal hassle and cease and desists they'd have to spend months to finalize and approve with ICANN...

And as echo_unlimited said, the other main competitor(s) have been up and running for years now...

Reduced both the BIN and the reserve for quicker sale... a real steal at this price point, you can't go wrong really...
