What's your favorite traffic source?

For local business conversions, I use local Business directories, I find these are easier to get organic traffic from as they mainly serve the local communities. In terms of just traffic I would say Google 2nd, and then inbound links via other people/organisations websites.

It's the best place to get traffic, and if you're a master of SEO and know what you're doing it shouldn't be that hard at all ...

 

Twitter and YouTube

 

Social Networks and Search Engines are good sources to bring traffic.

 

Social networking such as Twitter and Facebook, as well as PPC

 

I get a lot of traffic from Google image search. WP site

search engines bring lots of traffic- very expensive and only somewhat targeted
yahoo answers has proven very effective - targeted traffic
ezine articles has brought lots of good traffic - several sales and repeats
---reminds me I need to post some more articles...
facebook has brought some sales - of course I offer a discount there
forum postings have done well - thus here I am
safelists like herculist have proven a waste of time
traffic exchanges not doing any good either

Sure, your website's search engine ranking might go down sometime or the other, but it's easy to get your ranking position back,

Right now my company blog.

 

For my 6 biggest sites, organic search is my major traffic source. Luckily, they are in a position where they won't be going anywhere, soon.

For the others, I usually release articles and newsletters. That tends to have good results, too.

 

My fav traffic source is facebook or twitter..........

 

My favorite source is creatin ebooks and embedding them with liks to my squeeze pages and then giving them away like crazy. Results in lots of traffic to my squeeze pages and leads. Then I use my autoresponder to send my list a broadcast and include a couple of links and that always drives traffic.

 

Well I've got a good traffic from forums, blog commenting, articles and social bookmarking.
So I was continuously working on it.

 

I like the traffic I get from Facebook, Twitter and Youtube. Search Engine traffic I like also.

Absolutely, hands down. These are also very targeted if your url is realted to the website\content. If you build a good proffesional profile also, visitors will want to know more.
