Link building question (google pr)

Folks,

say it's a brand new website with pr0.
say i want to get started building pr for this site.
having one pr3 back link is worth or having 2 pr2 back links is worth?

 

I think forget pagerank. Create unique content and update it twice a week or more. And later start to link building with blog commenting, article sharing etc. Pagerank isn't most important think. Also your can share your articles on social media.

Look out for the outbound links of PR3 and two PR2 websites. If the no of outgoing links are greater in PR3 than two PR2 sites then i would opt for the inlinks of two PR2 websites.

 

I haven't heard of anyone knowing how Google measures how pr is distributed. Just forget about it and build your backlinks

 

Google has described the method of calculating PR, but I haven't seen anything updated after that. It is being seen on Wikipedia but not the updated algo's.

 

if pr3 website/page has pointed many other webpage than the quality of quality of inbound link for website will decrease, so for back link pr is not much important that quality of that page.

 

In my view 2 pr2 links is better. But make sure both links have present in different IP and less OBL.

its not abt da quantity buddy.. its about the quality.. the more da quality of site(which includes relavent backlinks.. content.etc)

 

Also, you have to make sure that the inbound links you get are from websites that are related to yours or at least give credits about your website. In that way, the inbound links will count more both as link popularity and site review.

Don't let PR number foul you at this stage, there many other signals that have far bigger impact than PR. For example, getting a themed PR2 is much better than an unrelated PR3. Getting a them PR3 with loads of outbound links is far worse than getting a PR2 with less than 20 outbounds.

As another member suggested, get your content sorted first and then use social media to generate interest and back links. If the site is new and all of a sudden you getting high PR links, then that rings alarm bells.

No one have exact formula of how google or any search engine works but still people are doing SEO and they are doing good. Similarly exact PR formula is not know to anyone but still people know how it's working

Your Pr= summation of all PR Juice from diff sites = (PR of your Link1/no. of outbound links in that page) + (PR of Link2/no. of outbound links) + (PR of Link3/no. of outbound links) +.....

 

Check other factor also like outbound links from that page, relevant to your site. IMO 2 backlinks from different source it's benefit.

 

Don't forget relevant topic is important too.

To calculate the Page Rank for a page, all of its inbound links are taken into account. These are links from within the site and links from outside the site.
Google has some algorithm to calculate PR.. we can only predict it..
