The description is same in all the pages. So it appears same for all posts. Install Allinone SEO pack to avoid duplication issues
The description shown in Google depends on your Meta description tag. Considering your running on wordpress, install a good seo plugin like All-In-One Seo and set it up. It will do the task of auto generating your meta description depending on the content on your page. Once that's done, just give Google some time to recrawl and update your description.
It's in your meta description. I am not familiar with blogging software so I am not sure where to change it. But typically it should say <meta name="description" content="Whatever you want people to see when searching" />
Thanks to all. I have just now found that the problem is with my new theme. There contains the following meta data in theme header.php file <meta name="description" content="<?php bloginfo('description') ?>" /> <meta name="keywords" content="" /> That's why Google excluded my All in one SEO pack description.
