Q: About Link Building, How Much is Too Much ?

Hello All,

I have a simple question about link building ....
especially for a new website .... how much backlink is considered too much ...

note:
i'm curious .... cause people said you might get penalized if you building backlink too much ...

I guess this will depend on many factors such as keyword popularity, traffic, etc. I don't think you can have an accurate figure. By the way, the quantity of the backlink won't be the main issue but rather the velocity of the building of your backlink.

 

No quantity is too much... if the quality of the links so created are of good quality!

If you have links that are not bringing any traffic then to a search engine you have posted spammy non relevant links that should nor be counted. Well to the best of my knowledge anyway.

with that said if you could get penalized if you get to many backlinks all at once, because that looks fishy (probably means you bought links). So it's really an issue of passing, you don't wont to get say 1,000 backlinks in a day. But a few backlinks, everyday is fine.

 

Yeah, it really won't hurt you unless your site is like a week old and gets 1,000+ backlinks a day to it. That looks a little odd but other than that backlinks are a good thing and Google encourages people to build backlinks to their websites to increase rankings.
