Want to rank high on google? First page

How do I get to the first page of google?

I own a mortgage blog: www.todaymortgagerates.net
I have some links to it, but I guess I don't have good links because I don't rank at all, I have no pr.

Any good ideas what should I do?

 

First, of all - you won't get PR in a few days
Second, do a keyword research and promote links with keywords in the anchor text in all possible ways
Third, make your blog more SEO friendly

Do what folks told you to do on the other forum

Look into guest posting! Build links throughout your site. If you do that you'll build up authority quicker and can tie in more relevancy and get rankings for more keywords.

 

Please give more patient, you should build more outbound links, and update your content regularly, i am sure your site will be up to first page in the three month.

Firstly, I would like to mention that "mortgage" would be a really hot competitive niche, so you would usually need more SEO jobs on your site. Of course, targeting some relative long tail or local relative keywords would be helpful for the new business.
Secondly, updating site contents with niche relative contents regularly and increasing back links using your targeted keywords as anchor text stably would be both necessary for achieving and keeping a nice SERP purpose.

I think you are a SEO professional ...according to your signature..and you asking "How do I get to the first page of google?" strange things...

 

Yes i agree with seo extent.Because he add in signature seo expert keyword.So it seems look strange.

 

Forget about getting to the first page for any highly competitive mortgage term - it isn't going to happen. You are competing with huge players, some of which spend six figures a month on SEO. Rethink your keywords, and go for long tail keywords that you might actually rank for with a lot of work.

Well mortgage is very tuff keyword you can't get ranking easly and short term try to get ranking on long tail keywords it will help you to genrate business for you... and yes its a tuff ask to get ranking on that keyword but always keep in mind nothing is impossible Even the word imposible means, "I'm Possible"...

getting into the first page of google is not an easy task...
First of all you have to do keyword analysis for your site..update the contents regularly based on the keyword...
Do articles submission , blog commenting. participate in forum, do linkexchange to get permanent backlinks....

 

It is bad to hear such question from the guy who written in his signature that contact for 'SEO Marketing' ...

I want to share what I do to my First Site
I research some niche keyword with some tool, like google adword keyword tool with competition less then 1.000.000 with visitor up to 2000
and write unique article and post it, then I make inbound link to make easy tracking, and continue to advertise... like bookmark, submission, external link etc

I new be Marketer but it is all I know and do for now. :">

 

To get the high ranking in search engine...you need to make a effective seo campaign and covers keyword research, competitive analysis...

 

SEO takes a while to set your ranking into high gear. Achieving 1st overall isn't necessarily going to bring you instant rewards from the get go.
