I would like to know which registrars are most popular these days and why do people choose them, that is why I ask you to post your fave registrars awith few words about your choise.
My favourite are two: sibername.com which I get a generic TLDs from and SEO services of the highest level and also I like eurodns.com which offering great amount of country code top level domains with huge discounts from time to time.
    your turn
    thanks!

I use Godaddy for most of my domains. I would never use them for hosting though.

Name.com, Namecheap and Godaddy. They offer a coupon codes that you can use to get a nice discount when purchasing domain names with them.

GoDaddy and NameCheap are most popular and reliable. But I have always used NameCheap for its simple uncluttered user interface.
    NameCheap rocks :)

You can use any registrar which is quite famous. :)
There won't be any problem. Godaddy and Name are famous but I use InternetBs as they don't have ads.

i dont like godaddy, it's too complicated, you need a cc for your paypal account and all this other crap.

Namecheap's cheap and simple with all the features you could ever need.

I have been using godaddy for some years now but recently I transferred a few domains to INTERNETBS.NET and I think they are the cheapest. I like their control panel specially because it is easy to use.
