Hi All DP members, I want to know your opinion about Google Instant, will it kill SEO in coming days? Please share your valuable views.
hi, it may create trouble for long tail keywords..but i am still happy coz my keywords is still as it is after Google Instant....
Not sure about the SEO part. But Instant is so annoying that I went into my Google settings and turned it off!
Plus as the search page changes as you type the search term an awful lot of adwords ads will only be displayed for a fraction of a second so the number of impressions is likely to rise - good job they charge for clicks and not impressions!
Its really something new and interesting insight! But I don't think so it will effect on SEO as this change does not impact the ranking of search results.
I think SEO perspective "Google Instant" is not good. The reason behind this is now google predictions are also shown on resulting page obviously followed by sponsor results which takes much part of browser screen. So it is very tough to get clicks on website if we do not rank on 1st to rd position becoz generally people do not like to scroll down too much.
Google instant is not a threat. If any one want exact info on particular keyword, they will type full keyword.
I don't think it'll gonna affect SEO in any way... It's a nice improvement but I personally don't like it.
I cant understand why SEO guys often fears with each and every updates with SE's while only features are updated only not the search algorithms. The concepts of searching and ranking are still remain same only the concepts of displaying results are changed.
For sure the SEO business will survive for a long time from now on. If let's say SEO is dying you can still do internet marketing, etc lots of stuff related to SEO, that a SEO consultant should be aware of.
I don't think so, Google Instant will effect your efforts of SEO. Since if you do follow a good SEO strategy than it will not affect you that much.
of course it will have an impact. Is it a threat? It's a threat to anyone making money from long tail niches.
Not only will it not get rid of SEO but rather it will make it stronger. First of all, it will suggest searches for people and show them results for the most common one before they've even agreed to see it. This will concentrate searches at the top of the food chain. Next, it will actually improve secondary searches by suggesting follow up searches to people so that we know to optimize for those as well.
I think, given some of our results and that Google Instant seems more willing to put localized results in the middle of the first page...those #1 and #2 results just became that much more valuable.
i am not scared with google instant guys it's just the gameplay is little bit changed ... SEO will never end because untill search engines are alive we cannot expect seo to be dead
