Rinfuza just explained the "Pipeline" theory, meaning that you could go from 100 visitors a day, to 1 million visitors per day, and you may not see new conversions immediately. That is because people just don't make SPENDING decisions immediately, especially on a website that they have just seen for the first time. But, when that person is actually ready to buy, they will find there way back to your site, if your product was presented well, and priced competitively.

These people just aren't intrested in what your offering them or your website isn't a good enough sales funnel to close a sale. You need to test monitor every traffic source to find out what is making you sales and what isn't then you can stop wasting money on what isn't working and focus more on what is working. If you have a $1k a month advertising budget split it up by 10 into $100 and test different marketing methods, small media buys, PPC and SEO and so on and monitor the results.

Hi Guys, thank you for all your thoughts that you’ve shared. We will answer all of you in one post :).

    1. Some of you wrote..
We can’t agree with it. We’ve been working for 4 years in the software market (since 2006) and developed our products comprehensively. We are a trusted name to our visitors. Our products are not something unfinished. According to our product survey they are good enough and much in demand.
    2.
Our software has a lot of useful features and it is not expensive in comparison with competitors'. We also provide good support service for our products.
    3.
A year ago we professionally renewed our site design and functionality. Now the site is very modern and user friendly.
    4.
    Yes, we did so.
We have enough sales. But we hoped to increase them significantly by using SEO techniques, google ads and facebook ads. Unfortunately, according to our experience these advertise campaigns do not work as we supposed. Yes, they increase traffic but this traffic is useless.

That really does not surprise me. Facebook ads for software is going to be a tough nut, unless the software is directly going to enhance their Facebook experience, or provide them with FUN.

Google Ads should be useful, if narrowly targeted on buying phrases associated to the exact users/people needing your solution. Without knowing your product, and the keywords you target it is not easy to determine your problem.

SEO will be beneficial to the level it is targeted on the proper phrases. If you bring in freebie seekers, tire kickers, and demo downloaders, you have wasted your time. If you target phrases for people seeking an exact solution to a problem, you will get higher quality leads which give you success.

The better question is where are your likely users at on the internet? Is your product targeted to a niche, or is the software general in nature? If it is very specific you can target it through content marketing (articles, videos, blogs, etc.) If it is general in nature you have a much tougher road to improving your sales.

I think you should set up campaign management tools to record website visitors, traffic sources, and the flow of visitors through your landing pages, sales pages and offer checkouts. one advantage of using powerful campaign management tools is its ability to monitor exactly how many people are clicking through your landing pages, and where they are clicking from. By tracking how people behave on campaign websites, you can optimize different copy and sales data to ensure that they have the highest possible conversion rates and thus you will instantly aware of any click fraud, bogus clicks, or network malfunctions

I personally recommend using video marketing and email marketing. Build a list of email and make a relationship with your customers.

Selling your own product is slightly harder because you can’t recommend your own product and expect people to trust you.

This is so true that one of my clients always advertise his product in the capacity of a product user, with a presale letter describing how he has benefited from the product. If you are a product owner, this can be a strategy worth considering.

It's all in the list, BABY!!

No, really. I didn't realize the importance of email marketing. Hell, I was a little scared of it at first. But after reading Andre Chaperon's AWESOME Autoresponder Madness guide I gave the ole' list system a try.

Yeah...it works! But you gotta be patient. Like they say...patience is a virtue.

    All the best!

You need to understand your market, as for example facebook marketing, you need to ensure you have a relationship with your facebook friends before shoving offers down their throat, and you need to know what it is they are interested in, so if you want to sell a health care product, join friends interested in health /fitness

All of the advice on this thread is very helpful and in many cases, spot on, but let us not forget the importance of a very well structured sales page as this is where the conversion actually takes place.

you must have one contact form for the customer that is visiting your website, with the Name, Email & Phone No fields in that, so that you can later contact them. i hope this will help to increase you online sale

TARGETED Traffic is the secret sauce.....

I have some sights with only 20-30 visits a day but
    they convert 1/26 ...

Either your offer doesn't convert or you don't have buying visitors...just info seekers..
It's important to test and find out.
