I have employed an "SEO expert" for the past 2 years, however every month I have to chase them for a report on what they have done in June and July they did areticle submissions but none was approved in the accounts I was given. So now I have requested a report before I pay for September and I find he has only submitted 4 articles (that I wrote) and done some social bookmarking, but I have questioned the amount of work he does for the money he charges. I am currently paying in the region of $325 per site and yes when my site falls he gets it back up, but I feel for the past 3 months he has done very little work but I have paid $1950! I am wondering if I do not use him can he harm my site? Black hat???? Is it wise to use him?
First of all, I am not an expert but I do know pretty much SEO with almost 3 years of experience and my clients are happy for what I do for them. Anyway, there are two things I would like to say for your case: 1. You are paying way too much for what you are getting from your service provider. 2. If your SEO/service provider is not able to provide you monthly reports (without your request) than I think he is not a professional in his field. Also, the work he is doing for your site is also not worth the cost you are paying. TIP: Try to find someone with good references and who knows proper SEO. These days, it is hard to find good and complete SEOs as there are too many "wanna-be SEOs". Just do a little research and try to find someone who can really help with your sites to rank them well in search engines. You still got time--to save money and to save your site as well... I am wondering if I do not use him can he harm my site? Black hat???? Is it wise to use him? I don't think they would do such a thing. Just make sure you haven't provided them any of your site's FTP details. Also, to avoid such scenario, I would suggest you to clearly ask your SEO service provider to do things professionally in future. Also, let them know about SEO market and the price you are paying and also, the work they are delivering. If you found any positive change till next month; than you can continue their services, otherwise, you always have an option to switch your SEO. Good luck,
Just change any passwords you have given him and you can feel safe. I do not think he'll risk his reputation and harm your site.
so, you paid money and no results? what's you website? and what exact services in seo does he do for you? i think you are paying money for seo company to do seo for you, but the return you are getting is very low, is he only using article submissions for example? for $2k alone i would do so much promotion in terms of seo. if you hire an SEO company, they will take your money, and with the rest of it, they will buy links/do promotion. they only manage your money to buy links, but most of the time, they take a big portion of it. Many SEO companies ask for high prices, because many wanna rank high in SERP. question is what return are you getting for paying money, are links purchased, etc. need to check all of it.
Wow thats expensive you can do what they have done your self SEO is not rocket science there are thousands of articles and references on the internet,my advise is spend some time reading up on basic SEO and save your self some serious money
No you are not wasting your money, if you are getting the results and business then do not think on more what your seo are doing. If they do not able to give you the satisfactory result then only make the pressure. Now day nothing is black hat because if some one do so then Google give the ban, but your site is ranking then your expertise are doing well.
