    There's nothing wrong with that. He probably wants offers from people. I understand that he may not get offers he wants first hand, however if he says no, to one offer I guess then the buyer will either bid at a higher mark or not buy.

    Echo, I think you are right but the right thing to do, at least is to state some rough figure where to start the bidding.

    I dont want to bid $500 if this guy wants $10,000 for his blog.

    and i think you guyz can decide the bidding starting amount...
    and as per my revenue.. it is approx. 3.5$ per day by all means... (Google+Infolinks+Axill+Chitika+Sponsored Reviews+Direct banner selling)
    means 3.5*30 = 105$ per month.. ..
    plus i also do income through affiliates as well...

    Kindly set the bidding standard.. and tell me what you can pay for it...

    You can search the web for more details... and moreover i am also a wordpress plugin developer.. i have written a plugin named "Thumblated Related Post" which increases the backlinks as well...

    As a seller, it is your duty to decide on a price. It is up to the buyer if he decides to buy or not, or whether to increase or decrease the price.
    Since you did not state the min price, you should be happy that nobody bid $10!
