Classifieds will work if you don't spam them and follow their rules. SEO, Article Marketing, Press Releases and Videos are always good too!

web2.0 marketing, but do not marketing with 'WHAT', nobodies intrested in your website or product. Market with 'WHY', your believes, your vision, etc. You need to indentify with the visitor, markting with what works also, but not as effective as marketing with why

I would totally cut Twitter out. Facebook and other online marketing techniques are the ways to go.

It really comes down to a simple question. Where are your customers?

Since we do not know your market there is no way for us to answer your question properly. So, you need to do the research.

Example: Replica Vietnam Weapons, Uniforms, and Memorabilia.

Think about the age of the people probably buying these items. They may, or may not be on Facebook. They are probably not on Twitter. They are probably in forums, blogs, and websites specific to their interests. I'd be looking for forums, Facebook Groups, Yahoo Groups, etc.. where these guys hang out and talk about their problems and interests. Think in their terms. I'd be finding out where issues with Military retirement, VA benefits, and other military benefits are discussed because they will be visiting those sites, too.

Look at your market, find out where they hang out, and then be there. Whether it is blogs, websites, social sites, or a classified ad in the back of a magazine.

I personally think that Social networking sites like twitter and facebok have become target areas for many Internet marketers..Social Media entered into the space when we had things like active forums and blogs where people spent their time in conversationSocial media present brands with the opportunity to engage with consumers and get them to spread the brand message.Social Media has not only brought revolution in the space but has also challenged the traditional marketing fundamentals of the Internet.

STP (segmenting, targeting, positioning) I think most appropriate.

Social media is important, but so are traditional marketing methods like regular local advertising or partnerships. Your offline presence is extremely important in most of businesses and it may prove beneficial where online tools fail, that is direct human contact.

Remember too that not all traffic is equally valuable. You want to find traffic which is interested in your website topic. A thousand visitors who would never have any interest in your site or your product/service is totally useless. One visitor who is interested can become a customer.

Create podcasts, viral videos or other interesting rich media and write a blog post to go submit with each one - be sure to notify users on Twitter of your YouTube videos - your YouTube viewers about your Twitter activity, and so o

Article marketing, find the highest ranked article directories, ideally in your niche, post your articles, rinse and repeat
