50 sites sandboxed all at once. Any ideas why?

    Hello,

I have around 50 websites. All of which offer good content, some generate money through adsense, others - on different hosting accounts - offer good, fresh content on a weekly basis, and don't generate any money through adsense. Recently, all 50 websites vanished from Google within 2 days. I have no idea why, but alas, all sites have been sandboxed for around 2 months now. Sub pages and posts can be found on Google, but not the home pages, which is vitally important for my sites earning adsense income, and rely solely on Google traffic.

I had this happen before with half my sites, but all were back in Google within a week, now all of them have gone with no signs of returning. I cannot build backlinks or update posts for each site on a regular basis, so should I just count my losses and move on, or is there something else I can do??

Has this happened to anybody else for this many sites?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions, or words of encouragement :)

You can ask for reconsideration via the Google Webmaster tools. Sounds like they think your sites are harmful.

Are all of your sites on different IP's? If Google suspected that one site was creating links with spam methods or illegal tactics, they could have penalized your entire network for that one sites faults. I've seen it happen.

The Google Sandbox is an alleged filter placed on new websites. The result is that a site does not receive good rankings for its most important keywords and keyword phrases. Even with good content, abundant incoming links and strong Google PageRank, a site is still adversely affected by the Sandbox effect. The Sandbox acts as a de facto probation for sites, possibly to discourage spam sites from rising quickly, getting banned, and repeating the process.

Your Adsense account, server ip's, whois registration, duplicate/similar content/layouts/templates + your linking schemes probably have connected all of your sites which ultimately caused for your penalty..

    Ouch, sorry to hear that.

I heard that sometimes websites stay sandboxed for months and only return afterwards!

Sounds like the fresh content was supplied by autoblogging techniques. If this is so I have heard that that is often the case. Autoblogging seems only to be effective for a very short period (so I have heard)

There a few ways that get all your websites sandboxed even you are at different IPs:

    1. All websites are designed in a similar way, structure and link patterns and one or few are suspected to be spamming. When it comes to creating new websites, I always make sure the designs and layout are different to prevent this from happening. If there's a footprint which is easy to track, Google will just kill all of them.

    2. You might be interlinking between these sites. Many people do this and I believe there's a high chance that you are doing this as well. When you are building niche websites to generate passive income, try to avoid this method because it doesn't do much good to your website. Getting one backlink from social bookmarking and other methods are much safer and easier.

    3. Human reviewer have found that all these websites are not genuine in their opinion. Can't do anything with this issue. Just make your website different from others so that they know that the website is not created with softwares.

    Hope it helps.
