No, Overture doesn't have Google info. It is from Yahoo.com's PPC.

You can also try Google trends which gives a relative measure of volume over time. http://www.google.com/trends

Overture stopped giving out search frequency results sometime in February this year. Their url is http://inventory.overture.com

When you search, it will show results from Jan.

The tool I prefer is from Wordtracker - http://freekeywords.wordtracker.com/

This pulls results from Dogpile and Metacrawler. You can generally multiply this figure by a multiple of 10 to get a rough idea on the no. of Google searches for that keyword (this multiple is just for getting an estimate and not exact).

Don't waste your time with the overture keyword tool, there is no reason to use search results from January 2007.

I think google keyword tool is the only trustable keyword research tool it looks to be. All other's they do averaging ,which is mostly guess work.

    Hi,

Rightly said by others, you can use tools like Google Adwords or Market Samurai and Traffic Travis.

Note that all of these tools are free to use, so you do not have worry about your pocket, lol :)
