without SEO, how can google add your site in its search engine??
for example, Google can see your Home by "Google Maps", but they cant enter it if you dont give them permission. Its Google, not God.

Yes and No. This is a change to benefit big brands. There are just too many opportunities to find a large brand on the way to a "long tail search query". By the time you enter the 4th word you will already have seen over 40 results, plus all the PPC ads changing as well. If you aren't winning very very generic words, be ready to watch PPC dominate....even worse if you aren't in top 3 (we know that gets the bulk of traffic), you will then need the user to not click on any of the 40+ results, AND scroll down to your result. I think this kills the results below the fold.

I still think many will type a particular search phrase they have
    in mind while searching...

Think this will benefit mobile search much more..

Will see how it plays out...

I think it will definitely change the way SEO is done, but theoretically it won't ruin SEO completely. You've still got to rank for keywords, but there'll be different ways of doing research etc. This is all speculation and I may be wrong, but I think as some opportunities die, others will be born.

Matt Cuts says No! Also, it almost seems like "long tailed" search results may be more viable for SEO.

Q: Does Google Instant kill search engine optimization (SEO)?
A: No! Almost every new change at Google generates the question “Will X kill SEO?” Here’s an video I did last year, but it still applies:

I was waiting for this topic to pop up! I actually got an email this morning about how every time Google makes a change, everyone gets scared the SEO is dying. It's not. Let's face it - no matter what Google does, they will always be in the business of providing the best search results to their users. That means SEO will always be relevant, because Google will always need a way to figure out who to rank first.

The newest Google change may mean you have to tweak your SEO strategy a bit (still waiting to see if that's the case). However, SEO is just like any other industry; if you don't change with the times, you get left behind.

SEO wont die... i think it is going to make it even more competitive. Such as the long-tail keywords. THink about it... with google instant combined with the auto suggestions, it is going to sway people towards more popular keywords thus webmasters now knowing which keywords to target. I would start doing some tests to see which words or short words popup up instant searches over others... such as in the case of acronyms or abbreviations. So far i have not seen any evidence of Google changing anything that would jeopardize SEO that has been done on sites thus far.
