    Hey everyone, I was researching what factors go in the algorithm for search engine rankings and I came across this page on SEOMoz. The methodology was a survey of top actual SEO experts worldwide, so these guys actually know what they're talking about.

    It gives the top 5 factors in ranking, the 5 most negative and the 5 most contentious. Thought it might help some of you out, so here it is:

    Edit: It's from 2009, so not incredibly new, but still I think very valuable.

    I believe that's a pretty old article.
    Some neat yet known factors mentioned there. Was expecting something new & unique on seeing the URL to be SeoMoz. Thanks anyways.
    I believe it was just a usual poll in which anyone was allowed to participate/vote.

    almost all the given factors are still consider for ranking. Google has added a new factor - page load speed/time this year
