Importance of blogging in SEO

Hello folks
There is a great importance of creating your blog in order to rank your site. Create a blog then do the directory submission of your blog URL. It may help to increase the traffic to your search.

 

Submitting your blog to directories helps with traffic, really?

Have you ever looked in a directory to find an interesting blog to read? I certainly haven't and I can almost 100% guarantee you that no one else does either.

 

You're totally right Mark, no one will search a directory for a blog link.
I don't know if simply having the backlink to the blog will help with SEO or not, maybe.

 

A lot of seo is all about gaining links. Just think of all the article submission services to hundreds of article sites. The purpose is in the hope of gaining backlinks. Other than articles on the big 4 - 5 article directories who reads that stuff?

 

Basically the main reason of having a blog solely for the sake of SEO could be due to ::
1) Content Updation is Possible.
2) The Blogging community is huge.
3) Blogs can be more dynamic as compared to a vast amount of static sites.
4) Information is more valid and updated.

 

It could help a little but not that much compared to social bookmarking, article marketing, rss submission, PR submission, network distribution etc.

yes of course i agree to you as SEO is just not about blogging, there are so many parameters that can help to rank your site. social media is another way out.

I made a blog but it was not cached, i did directory submission for it and now i found that blog is cached. Its my experience that i wanted to share.

 

Directories are now ineffective and obsolete. Don't waste your time on them.

 

not only directory submission, you need to make a complete campaign including article sub, directory sub, link building, pr sub, classified sub, business listing and many more...

 

Blogs are helpful for SEO purpose.They help to drive traffic on your sites.If your blogs have unique content and are interesting then it would definitely attract more visitors.
