what script can i use to screate an online marketplace

I am looking to create an online marketpace where sellers can create an account an post the items they want to sell.
Is there a ready made script to create such a site (an open source one if possible)?

Are you thinking of an auction script or fixed prices set by the sellers?

I know Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, all have extensions/addons that can do this. Before you commit, take a look at the related forums and make sure people are happy with the addon, and that it is well supported/still being updated.

here is some explanations: a buyer will send the payment to my paypal account and at the same time an equivalent amount of money is credited to the seller 's account . Sellers will then be paid after i verify the order
