Hello there My friend made recently a image hosting www.imgdepot.org and he added only the livejasmin ads and only if the picture is only for adults. So, what would be the best way to earn some money with this image hosting? Maybe a different site pays better or is there a better method, which wouldn`t annoy the visitors? Please reply if you have an idea, I appriciate your opinions
Make an .htaccess redirect so direct views to the photos via a direct URL gets brought to where the ads are
You mean pop-ups? They are using pop-ups right now but don`t know what site pays the most for 1000 views.
Its not pop-ups but similar of that. When a visitor comes to your web site and s/he will get Full page add like http://files.adbrite.com/mb/images/fpa_ss.gif when s/he skip the the page s/he will return to current page.
I have image host and i have 1.5k-2k uniques per day and i use CPM site i earn 0.70-1.50 $ in day. Pm me if you want site.
Worst idea is for an image host is to start with pop ups or full page ads aor any kind of annoying ads. What you will get are bans from forums/blogs/ torrent sites, start with two or three small ads until you build your userbase, and get people uploading images to your site.
Also i would like to add that imgdepot earning's interface is very poor/almost inexistent. Maybe your friend should check how the other "paid to upload image host" work first.
