Basic of increasing website traffic : Targeted & Qualified

As we know that after getting top ranking on Google we did not get traffic. Why this happens. Please check out keyword competition because if you target to low competition keyword then it means no traffic. Target to keywords which has high competition and optimize that page as per keywords.

Make more website pages regarding your products so visitors can understand easily and trust on your services but not doorway pages. These pages would cover all keywords and many pages will rank on search engines.

Write articles but should be unique not in sales pitch. You have to guide readers and create trust that whatever you have written is right.This is possible when you write unique content.

Press release is one of the best way to generate traffic. Check press releases of your competitors and provide discounts & free stuff so reader can come towards your website.

Lots of techniques in seo but these are effective (above).

I think that depends on the number of search/month , high number of search/month then, it is ok with low competition keyword

 

Ya press release and article submission is good way to increase the web traffic but we can also use the other quality and smart ways to increase the web traffic and such are as - Social Bookmarking, Social Networking, Forum Posting, Craigslist, Free Classified From Ad posting, Video marketing like as on YouTube and other such sites, Squidoo lenses and Google Adsense also.

These are also some other ways to get quality and targeted web traffic on your site.

 

I have found that it all begins with proper keyword research and a well-optimized website. Do both of those correctly and you won't have nearly as much backlink work to do in order to rank in the top 10 in the search engines.

 

If you want to generate more traffic then social media promotion is the best thing. Promote your product or service on social media sites. Submit your link on stumbleupon and twitter to generate more traffic. If you are more concern about getting high PR then try to increase your do-follow backlinks. And doing both social media marketing and increasing backlinks together will give you great result.

I think you may have used adword keyword tool, it sometimes gives false information, I had also chosen a keyword according to it but it didn't work, searches were 65,000 per month, but I am not receiving any visitor from search engine!

 

you need to make sure that your keword is the best out there! OR YOU WILL FAIL!
