Casino Wonga – New Design - 2 Web Page PSDs Coding Not Required!

I want a brand new design for my casino affiliate site. This contest is for the design of 2 pages uncoded.

I want to break away from the standard web design that has obvious elements such as header, sidebar and footer. A good example of a site that breaks the mould and is exactly the new type of design I’m looking for is http://en.casino-lemonade.com/ although no part of this site should be copied.

I'm not expecting a full flash website like the example above.

The above Casino Lemonade site uses a retro 40s / 50s design which works well. For my design I would prefer a gangster type theme perhaps themed in the 1920s. I am happy for you to use stock images for characters on the theme such as:

If you do use stock images please declare them on your entry. Original artwork will be greatly appreciated.

Page 1 - Home Page Design

I going to refer to the example site I mentioned earlier (Casino Lemonade) but again I must stress that YOU MUST NOT copy any images from this site.

Header

On Casino Lemonade I like the way they have a figure in a circle as the logo. I’m not though bothered about flash plus if you wish you can use a stock image for the character. I also like the way the logo has the name of the site around it (casino lemonade).

Casino Lemonade has the tag, fun and refreshing casino games. I would like the tag “Simply The Very Best Online Casinos”

On Casino Lemonade they have main options which are home, casino games, online casinos and the blog. I require:

Casino Games
Casino News

Latest Games Section

On Casino Lemonade they have a Featured Games section that includes a slider that show 5 games. I like the way they have an image next to the game slider so perhaps you could use a mafia boss image? I also would require 5 buttons so the user could select different games.

The above slider image will need a “Play Now” button in the middle of the image. Plus a top bar overlayed at the top of the image which would in this case read “Play Lord Of The Rings Slot” plus also perhaps in small text “Play at” then the Virgin Casino logo.
At the bottom similar to Casino Lemonade I would require 3 lines of small text then 2 buttons. One button would say Free Play whilst the other would say Real Play.

Top Games Section

At Casino Lemonade on the left they have a “Last Games” section. I would like a Top Games section. This section would include ten top games. The images would be taken from http://www.virgingames.com/casino/GameMenu.aspx?menu=SLOT (the square images) so they would need some sort of overlay to round off the edges and perhaps be framed like the images on Casino Lemonade. Each game should have a title such as “Play Lord Of The Rings Slot” then a few lines of small text to the ring of the image.

Top Casinos Section

To the right of Top Games section if you refer to Casino Lemonade you will see it has a Best Casinos section. I would like a Top Casinos section. Each casinio should have the name of the casino, the casino’s logo, space for a few lines of small text, a review button or text, a play now button or text. The height of each casino row will be less than each height of the Top Games row.

Latest Casino News Section

Underneath the Top Casino section simply add a Latest Casino News section with some dummy text.

Footer
As you can see on Casino Lemonade they use the footer to list all the games. I would like the same. All the games listed on the sidebar at www.casinowonga.com I would like to be included in the footer. Keep the text small as I will be adding more.
Also include Facebook, Twitter & Youtube buttons.

Page 2 – Slot Machine Page

This will have the same header, footer and general style of the homepage. This page will replace http://www.casinowonga.com/monopoly-multiplier-slot-free-play/
This page will be used for different casino games using an iframe sized at 605px x 554px. I like how Casino Lemonade has framed the iframe so I would prefer something like this although not copied from Casino Lemonade.

I do not require the option to resize the game that Casino Lemonade has.
Casino Lemonade has a “Play For Real” button which is animated. I also require a button but would prefer a much wider button. The button should switch between the following 2 text lines.

Under the game please add a sidebar on the right. On the sidebar include:

A newsletter sign up form including the text:
Free Sign Up
Join Us.
Form fields for name & email address.
A mini version of the top top ten games section
A mini version of the top 10 casinos section

The main space to the left of the sidebar will be used for a description of the game. Just use the slot name such as “Play Lord Of The Rings Slot” then include some dummy text with sub headings.

Logo Contest

If you design a logo post it in the above thread as well as this one. If you win the logo contest you will earn another $50.

Please (since I've seen horribly organized PSDs) properly name, group and organize all the layers in the file).

I would prefer that you submit a mini watermarked version of your design in this thread and pm me a full sized watermarked version. Any designs that are not watermarked will not be used.

Closing date is the 12th September although I reserve the right to extend the contest if I don't have a design that I think is good enough.

Other than in the blog post i have not used any other part of the site you have mentioned. The design is handcrafted by me.

Hey Tony, is this still open? Doesn't seem to be much activity in here. I have a weekend to work on this if so.

 

It's still open although this contest has had a very poor response. I think that if I don't get a few good entries today then I will have to post it somewhere else. Very disappointing!
