Hey I'm trying make my real name the name of my website and it will not let me.

It wont let me use 3 letters in a row on my first name, only 2.

It wont let me put .com for my lastname

    example: [firstname] ZZZebra [lastname] .com

is there any tricks or any way around this? any help or suggestions are much appreciated.

    Thanks

Facebook won't let you change your name easily. They are very picky.

However you can easily create a new account with any name you want.

Facebook profiles are NOT meant to be used for anything else but "real people". By this i mean they are meant to be personal, not some company or website thing. That's why there are business fanpages and groups.

This guy got it all. Profiles are meant to be personal, not to be used for marketing purposes.

You can always make a business page for your website which acts similar to a profile page. You can pick any name you want and also the url can be facebook.com/yourbusinessname once you obtain 25 likes by going to http://facebook.com/username

I used to work at Facebook and in the last 5 years they really wanted to make sure the platform stays unsolicited spam free. You are only allowed to use your really name. Unless you went to the court house to legally change your last name to "dot com" or ".com" Facebook won't even consider it.

Yes, Instead of trying to change your name (which will also confuse you because you are used to your current name :p ) you can create a facebook page. Do not care about the URL right now, try to add 25 fans ( 25 peoples who like that page ) then you can change the url to whatever username you want. This method has advantages.
    1. You do not have to change your name (which also looks spammy )
    2. You are not restricted to not more than 2 consecutive charectors and using com.
    3. You do not need to create a separate facebook account.

Be aware from razz.jazz!! He's a scam. He has taken my $60 as personal payment(*his rules personal payment)for 20 CL Pva's. But he didn't provide me any single of them. Even he has blocked me from AIM and G.talk.

You can't do it. It's very limited of the control you have on facebook.
