Does forum signatures value?

I am seeing lot of people give sites links in forum signature with keyword in anchor text so does google give it value?

 

Not a lot, but it certainly does carry weight. Especially if your niche is low-competitive you will notice your rankings will improve.

 

If your site is in the same niche as the forum... then you will surely get lot many quality visitors from such signature links!

When building back-links every little bit helps and with big forums like DP it's easier to get traffic from sigs.

 

Sure, it does. I often click people signature in forum and I think other people do the same way. beside that we may earn backlink if the forum apply dofollow term

 

Yes they do, but not too great, because as you see, forum signature comes from PR n/a pages, there are many signature on one page.
Which mean the quality is very low.

Forum signatures are very effective and niche doesn't matter at all if you are just improving SERPs.

 

I find it does help to get traffic to your sites.

Correct! and it's still a backlink. What ever kind of backlink as long as it is does not comes from banned sites and not blackhat, it is good.

 

It can be a useful way of getting new sites/pages indexed. Am not sure of backlink value but assume that, in a mixed link building campaign, sig links have a part.

If the forum is related to what you offer in your signature link it will often get you some visitors to your site.
Also, the DP forum signatures are DoFollow so it helps a bit more than regular NoFollow links.

I've gotten about 100 clicks on my signature so far, not much but it helps. I also think it has helped me
some in getting higher search ranking.

Ok, let me help you. I think the forum signature links will have value if you will have some posts in your niche forum.

In example. Your blog or website is about dogs or accurated niche bulldogs. So find some forums about bulldogs. Write some posts in themes about bulldogs care or smth. Then put your blog link in your forum profile and signature.

yes if you put a link on it but if not. then its useless.You can still promote but it will not give you backlinks
