This is a marketing strategy in which web site's force to visitors to enter their email address to subscribe their email notifications about their products,services,articles and events.
When a user subscribes the newsletters from any web site they will starts sending emails to subscriber.
IMO this will not helps in SEO i any way this is an email marketing strategy.
