if a fundamentalist in india dictates anything, the civil soceity is prompt to react. take Muthalik for example. women from all over india presented him with their panties. the media goes for his blood and does a sting operation.

now compare this with islam. if any mulla dictates the women folks to wear burkha, the women folks will be obliged to follow the diktat. does any islamic media has the guts to say anything against those fundamentalists?

Sadly it is the extremists that get all the headlines as they peddle they terror and fear. The weird mullahs who take a beautiful book like the Q'ran and twist it to their own misogynistic ends and ignore the good things to subvert it to make young men become killers. Sunni vs Shiite vs Wahabi vs the rest, Catholic vs Protestant and all the rest of them make me sick.

You answered it. A Pakistani Hindu is so very cultured to stay patriotic to his land of domicile because he or she is mature enough not to connect religion with nationality. In contrast, an Indian muslim always cheers the Pakistani team and celebrates their victory, and it knows no bounds if it's against India. Now you know whose parents teach what.

A great majority of Indian muslims harbor dreams of demolishing Indian ethos, the fabric of democratic living, culture, and the country and make India Islamic.

Hinduism is a religion of free and doesn't force its followers to follow certain things or command them to discriminate anyone who's non-Hindu.

Infact, Hinduism is not really religion but a way of life - you can be a Hindu and cheer for a Moslem team, but Moslems rarely support non-Moslems anywhere.

As a Hindu, we don't have to go to the temple, nor do we have to convert people - we're allowed to do all what we want as long as we follow atleast one path of Dharmic Hinduism.

Our elders don't brainwash us.

They let us find our way -- I think that says a lot of things about our upbringing - we're not a bunch of camel-headed, hot-blooded inbred monsters who want to chop people's bodyparts off in the name of God.

Also, this statement does prove to me that your mental image of correct upbringing is:

If you're white, you should only support white sportstars
If you're Hindu, you should only support Hindu teams.
