Hi Buddies, Our website bounce rate is normally 33 to 34%, but the last two days our bounce rate is doubled to 55 to 60%. Yesterday we deleted google conversion code for unwanted pages in my website, so this will be impact on bounce rate. Please provide your suggestion
hi, deleting the google conversion code from the pages won't affect the bounce rate. check out the reason by a-b testing or by fine tuning the content in a better way. just for two days don't need to bother i hope.
I think the most important thing is that visitors need to get what they are looking for. If your sites theme is not clear for the search engines you get the wrong visitors and high bounce rate.
Bounce rate will increase since the visitor staying in short time. If you want to avoid, website look should be good and we should give useful info on website.
I don't think deleting Google Conversion code will affect it either. Add more stuff to your site and provide good quality for your audiences. Make them stay longer!!
It has something to do with your traffic source. Recheck with analytics for any surges in traffic in these two days, if yes then find out their sources. PTC and such bought traffic tend to have a higher bounce rate..
Use proper title and keywords along with alt text for images to get the perfect traffic for your web site or blog.
I would think about the things that might have changed on your site. Design changes, email opt in box was added, anything that might severely effect the bounce rate.
Sounds to me as if you have been possibly driving larger amounts of traffic from poor or irrelevant sources over a short period?? This would cause you to see such a dramatic increase in bounce rate. Or maybe you trebled your prices? ;-)
This may be the only reason! I agreed! And deleting conversion code is not related with search terms or any kind of traffic terms. Thats justs tells you how many peoples were there successfully. Thats all!
Hey haribabu, What is the URL to your website? I can look at your site and give you some tips on how to lower your bounce rate. Kindly, Shelby : ) Optimizing your website for conversion isn't expensive. Leaving money on the table is.
you can trace your site's visitors behavior with one of spy tools. See for example userfly.com. It should help you to detect the reason for high bounce rate
I have been experiencing a high bounce rate recently with Interspire, it is becoming more difficult to inbox emails
My bounce rate is typically high due to the product we sell, but I would leave the google conversion code in place no matter, it can tell you, at least some of the story..... Only 20 years experience....
