Is creating many Facebook Accounts from same ip, a criminal offense ?

I ask because I dont add people as friends unless I know them, and I dont join groups because they have lots of fans, I join groups if they are of interest and I feel they might in some way benefit me. So someone having a large amount of profiles doesnt make any sense to me!

 

Facebook will probably ban the accounts if they notice them or they get reported, but I can't imagine you going to jail for it. It violates the TOS of the site - not a law

 

i dont think so facebook is used for promotion of business so according to me if you are creating multiple account from your ip is not incorrect

Consider a net cafe there is also 100's of peoples accessing and creating facebook account without any problem
i think sometimes it may be a problem if you are using Facebook advertising in same name and address/ip

why would it be, ebay allows you to have 2 accts to, however they suck, if one acct goes down for non payment for auctions, everyone's in the house does too simply because every1 shares the pc

 

hello, all account will be deleted if you create many account from one IP. you have to proxy or ip changer for doing that. Thanks

 

I don't believe it's illegal, however they CAN sue you. When you create an account all that "legal" stuff they put that you agree to, if you break their contract they can sue you. They won't, but they can.
