Hey, got a quick question. I read though all of your responses, and I'm wondering if you used a direct link in your signature of articles, or you linked to a landing page first. I know eZine dosen't allow direct affiliate links, so if you did use direct links, did you use a different article directory than eZine?

More than my first sale - I still remember it as well!

$17.89 was my first sale and if you could take a picture of my face the moment i got that sale you would of thought i had won the lottery or was just plain insane!!!

Congratulations on your first sale averagejenny. The first sale is ALWAYS the hardest, but you have gotten off the base of the mountain now. Now that you have a method for making sales, continue to scale up what you are doing and the sales will come in tenfold!

^qsuraj - She said she's using Article Marketing. I won't go into that completely, but it comes down to writing/outsourcing custom articles and submitting them to article directories (eg: EzineArticles). These article directories tend to have a solid amount of leverage with the search engines (in addition to the backlinks you get doing this), so when people search for your term, the ezine article comes up close to the top. People read the article, like what they see, and go to the author's web site usually listed at the bottom of the article, and in averagejenny's case, they clickthrough to the product you are pitching and let the product page do the rest, netting you a nice little commission.

 

We always love first sale. I would love to see one sale per day in my clickbank account at least and working in that direction.
