Tools used by a webdesigner/develper

    I would like to know like the tools, because i don't think web developers just stick to their design knowledge and notepad, i currently think they combine dream weaver,photo shop, and some others for a perfectly good site design, but what exactly are they, i would like a list.

    all you web developers out there what softwares do you use for your web designs

    notepad++, gimp, paint.net, vmn toolbox (for image captures)... oh forgot, wampserver

    Basically you need:
    Photoshop and/or illustrator
    and a code editor.. I prefer pspad its awesome.. nothing more

    Sorry that I had to laugh, but Frontpage and Expression Web are tools for kiddies IMO ;)

    Not what a real coder would use :p

    Dreamweaver and Photoshop mainly, I use a lot of firefox extensions for some basic things too like Firesizer, MeasureIt, and Colorzilla
