How to add youtube video in a wordpress site

How can I add youtube video link or any other video from my hard disk in my wordpress site?

 

Just go to HTML editor while writing a post on wordpress and paste the youtube embed code on the place you desire. That's it. Very easy. Regarding video from your hard drive, upload it first on youtube and then post it on your blog. This way, you will preserve some disk space and bandwidth consumed as well.

its easy, make sure that you are in HTML editing mode and copy the embed code from the following YOUTUBE URL which you want to place on your blog.

 

don't upload a video file from my hard drive direct to wordpress, it sure is a large file. just upload it in youtube and paste the html code to wordpress.

 

hi i will recommend you to yous third part ost like youtube or vimeo for word press yaa you can upload some video but use 3d party host and enjoy any no of video at your wordpress ( this is my personal view , but i have don lot of research on it )

absolutely right, it's easier to copy the embeded code from youtube to your post / wordpress

Yes, it is very easy, but youtube videos html code isn't validated by w3c you might want to validate it first before pasting to your site. The benefit of having videos in your server, google will index your videos too.
