Software / Tool to PING Multiple URLS same time

Is there any tool to ping multiple ulrs in one go?

I am looking for tool to ping 100-200 URLS per day. Has anyone come across any tools to do this?

Websites like pingomatic.com and feedping.com allows you to ping one url, but I need to ping 100-200 per day.

I'm sorry. I'm kind of a noob to this but what do you mean exactly by ping?

I may be able to write up a program to do this pretty quickly, depending on exactly what it is you are needing it to do.

Do you just need a program to browse to a specific URL?

 

Pinging is nothing but notifying the Search engines that you've updated your blog or have some new content that needs to be indexed. This causes the search engines to have their spiders crawl your site.

I use SeNuke Or Magic Submitter to do this. However, i'm unaware of any free pinging tool since SeNuke & Magic Submitter are quite Expensive to be used just for the sake of Pinging.

Basically you ping just to get indexed right?? OR maybe increase your crawl rate which is proportional to the indexing rate?

Copy-Paste your multiple URLs, with each new url on a different line here :: http://vollkin.com/rss/
That'll help you get a single rss feed of all those URLs.
Now submit this feed to multiple RSS directories.

By my experience, i'd say that this method works 100x better than pinging as search engines already have a lot of load to be able to attend millions of pings done in a day.

 

I am 99% sure I could make a program to ping as many sites as you want. I'd just need a few details. If someone wants to contact me shoot me a PM.

 

Keep looking harder. There is a forum just like this one that a user is sharing a multiple url pinging desktop tool. Also, you might want to try pingdevice.com. For awhile you had to fill out a CPA survey to use the tool but I think he got rid of it.
