Gone are the days We learned writing with slates and pencils, and progressed to fountain pens. Now Microtips, Gelpens and ball pens get replaced fountain pens. I do want to knowhow many are still using fountain pens. Throw away your opinion and answers my dear fella DP members.
Hah.. I'm still one of those people who use a fountain pen... somehow I've always felt that using an expensive fountain pen is way classier than a ball pen
I just used Fountain Pen! in College Days... using Fountain Pen is just big hurdle i am always fond of Ball Pen because it is portable and does work better than Fountain
i rarely use fountain pen 'coz ball pen are very easy to write with but ya i agree fountain pen are more classy..
Back in the school days I used to write with fountain pens... However as I moved on to university, I switched to Ball point pens as they are cheaper (no problem if I lose them), portable, and smooth. Fountain pens, you gotta refill the ink again and again..which is a pain in the ass. but yeah...once I become a business man, you'll only see a fountain pen (Parker or waterman ) in my suit's pocket
I still use fountain pens in school. They make my writing so neat and are lot better than any other pens.
I use fountain pens but very rarely. It easier to use a gel pen, plus its more rigid and the ink color is not sore to the eyes the way ball pens ink color is. Fountain pens are great but then you cannot take them everywhere.
If I am writing a serious letter I would always use a fountain pen. It is so sensuous to use, and shows that you care. For everyday use, I will use a ball point pen as it is much more convenient.
I don't remember when I used a fountain pen last time, I am using ball point for a long time, even in college we used to write with ball points not with fountain pen. I think it has been over 10 years that I did not use fountain pen. By the way, using ball point too much does affect your "Hand Writing". Fountain pens are very good if you want to make your hand writing beautiful but ball points will just ruin your writing. My hand writing is very bad because of it
Yes i use ball pens, because i am left had writer, and for example gelpens break fast for me and dont write well.
