i am very please with Shopsite. We have utilized for almost 8 years. I was looking for another cart with CRM, but adding products on other carts seem like a pain....

dont know why u dont like magento. magento is a very powerful ecommerce software. it has lots of features thats why it takes time to set up and operate. but why rush into setting up an ecommerce website when there is a lot that could go wrong. patience and meticulousness is very essential when setting up an ecommerce store where u expect people to come shop and trust your site enough to put their credit card numbers into your website. u really dont want an easy software. magento has a learning curve, but once you take your time (like you should with any huge enterprise like setting up an ecommerce website) and learn, you should be fine; and u will sleep well knowing ur store is safe and sound in the back-end. so guys take this for what its worth, but it is absolutely necessary to get the best software to avoid any serious issues down the road. ---just saying.

I like x-cart. It is very customizable and uses smarty engine for its templates.

I would recommend 3dcart, this is an US based hosted ecommerce solution,

    * 24x7 Phone support is included at no extra charge.
    * Visa PCI certified, so no need to worry about fraud.
    * Low monthly cost, ready to use templates.
    * Latest features, including free Facebook Store, Mobile version, and Twitter integration.

Try Vendio - it's a completely free online store that allows you to also sell on multiple channels such as eBay and Amazon.

I can't believe this is still on the first page.

Anyways, I'd like to thank you guys for providing suggestions/recommendations and I've decided to go with BigCommerce (they just recently released version 6) as it fits my business niche. It wasn't an easy decision but for now it'll do.

I recommend you to use Zencart or OsCommerce.
If you are using WordPress, you can use some ecommerce plugins or theme.
