* $100 Famous Contest - 48hr Web ReDesign: Picnic! *

Hey Guys!

It's oneawesomeguy again with one of my Famous contests! Please read the rules section.

ABOUT ME:
I have been hosting contests here on DP for two years. I have hosted dozens of contests (usually about once or twice a month). I always comment on every design, announce a winner, and I always pay.

Goal: Increase sales.

CONTEST DETAILS:
1. Submit web design entries for 48 hours from the time stamp on this post. Revisions on entries can be made after the 48 hours are up.
2. To be fair: No entries via PM and no late entries, please.
3. Once 48 hours is up, I will review all designs thoroughly and give my thoughts/opinions on every single design. This usually takes me 2-3 days (but sometimes takes longer as I may require a response from someone else, please be patient).
4. I will allow revisions to be made for 24 hours to give everyone a chance to win.
5. Winner provides .PSD (or .XCF for GIMP users) file and fonts used. I will send $100 via PayPal and give honest iTrader.

RULES:
By submitting an entry, you agree to the following:
1. You must create the designs yourself. No templates. You must not use any images you do not have the right to use.
2. If you use watermarks, it must say "Sample" (for consistency). Do not let watermarks affect your design. I recommend not using them.
3. You agree to let me use a representation of your design. If you do not win, you keep all rights and can even sell your design to someone else. However, you must remove anything that identifies this company specifically (e.g., company name, logo, pictures from this contest, etc.).
4. By accepting the winnings, winner agrees to transfer me full rights to that design and you agree that you will not use the winning design for anything else.

The 48 hour deadline will be enforced as long as there are at least five entries. One person can submit as many entries as he or she wants.

SUGGESTIONS:
1. For images, check out iStockPhoto or similar sites and use their free comps. Only pay for the images if you win (Note: No istockphoto logos on the winning design sent to me).
2. For colour combinations, check out colourlovers.com--an awesome website!

Thanks for your question. You may use any colour combinations you want as long as the design fits well together. We are going for a professional look for this design so if you use colours combinations that appear corporate and professional, bonus points for you.

 

Thanks for the reply oneawesomeway. Actually since its a nature based area its colours may vary. So i decided to put some colors altogether. Im Fact, I finished the design since yesterday and trying to do 2-3 more alternatives with various colors and other little kinks.

However I have a problem with your logo.
Do you have it seperately?

 

Nope, sorry. What is on the website is all I have. If you want to create your own logo, that is fine too as long as it fits the general theme.

You are right about the nature theme. I had not thought about that before, but may be nice as well. If someone can do a corporate/nature theme, I really want to see that one!
