Sandbox VS Aged Domains

    If I have a domain that has 3-9 years under it's belt and I start creating massive backlinks to it do you think it will get sandboxed? I own a domain that has 9 years of age going for it and I don't think Google would sandbox such a site, but the domain I really wish to put to use only has 5 years, and although I don't think Google would sandbox a 5 year old site, it may still be a possibility.

    What do you guys think?

    old domain doesn't mean anything. if it was a site, not parking page then you are safe.

    I think sandbox effect the new site. So more domain age can avoid sandbox. But if the traffic increase too much and not natural increate you will be banned.

    if The old domains, were live sites with at list a few links to them then should not have a problem unless you really add like 1000 links per day... in that case google will panlize your site and most other site that will do it.

    sandbox will last about 3 month to 1 years or more if your domain is new.

    Not to a domainer, but to a marketer, age is quite important.

    Aged domains are way easier to rank than a new domain. Most new domains get into the dreaded Google 'sandbox' for the first couple of months after you make the site. Aged domains, fortunately, don't suffer this problem.

    hundred baclinks added to your site in a month can cause your site put in sandbox, even it's aged domain

    i do think that the sandbox effect is there. I my self have seen my sites going into that filter. It was after 9 months that it came back. SANDBOX exists !!!!!

    if you have had a website on the domain for long I don't think you need to fear- just having an old 'domain' isn't really relevant. If your site is 5 years old then you won't get sand boxed- if a thing like it really exists :)

    Sandbox is exists, it's the place for a site which has problem with Google Adsense's TOS, read the rules again, find the problems, and Fix It!! Then you can ask for site reconsideration.

    Even you have a ton of quality backlinks list, you can't boost your site ranking over a night! Do it naturally, Mr. G will like it...

    Naturally = Consistency in optimization

    You can do optimization one or two times a week, with a consistent amount of link, Regularly!!

    It's work for me, hope it will work for you... :rolleyes:

    The "sandbox" is a about new websites not being able to rank as well as an aged domain for keywords which I have not experienced... I think you are talking about a google penalty for over optimization... that I have experienced and can happen if you over do the link building.
