    Hi all,

If I get 200 backlinks at a time from same server (IP) with different domain names and PR 0 (zero), How google treats it ?

Does google consider it a spam ??

    Please guide me.

    Thanks in advance

I would recommend against putting up 200 backlinks to your site in one go. Google will most likely pickup on it and presume you have bought these backlinks and according to their webmaster guidelines they are against people buying backlinks. If you get caught you can get your site banned or penalized. So the backlinks could actually work against you.

I have seen people being penalized and even getting removed completely from the index. If you do a search here you can read up on ppl getting penalized and banned for being caught buying a backlinks. Usually they get caught because they do what you are considering: Just chucking up a big amount of backlinks in one go or within a very short period.

Hope I was able to be to some help.

To each there own in this situation...

I had put up 10,000 backlinks in one shot, but they all weren't indexed nor counted as backlinks in one day, one week, or even a month now.

But, if your site is relatively new, then build them naturally, and let the SEs find them on there own.

10k backlinks in one go! Haha your rankings would be in a world of hurt if you would go ahead with that. Don't take my word for it. Google or search right here on DP and you will find tons of different webmasters and even ppl calling themselves professional SEO's getting banned or penalized for putting up to many backlinks in one go.

Really simple: You break google's webmaster guidelines and they catch you they will kick your rankings/pagerank in the "nuts".

    Yeah, I did it....

    "I'M NOT AN EXPERT"

I also don't care about everyone else that says you can't do that either..

I was trying to prove a point, that you can build that many, and not be penalized...

Again, it doesn't mean Google is going to find all 10,000 backlinks in one day.... Its been 4 months now, and they have only counted 4,000 or so, of them.

Being banned is highly unlikely, if that was the case, half of the internet would be banned...

people also think if you put up dup content, then your banned, again, very unlikely since 90% of the
internet runs on what someone else has created. google may not index you as much. Google would
only ban you if you were doing something shady/illegal, etc..

submitting that many links, or duplicate content may sandbox you for a time, and if
your site is new, then expect a sandbox for sure, noboby other then the op wants their
brand new site to be popular, so google is not going to give you credit for a bunch
of back links or a lot of duplicate content when other sites deserve more credit.

No it wouldn't hurt. This is the case with all sitewide links, however they will not pass the value of 200 links individually but will pass the value equal to just a couple of links.

It is the same case with forum signatures. Just by changing the link in his signature, the poster above me can get 1400+ links in one go. This isn't harmful as long as the links are from the same i.p.

You can't get banned for putting up 200 links at once or even 2000 for that matter. They may not count for any value but you won't be banned or penalized for it. If that were the case I would throw up 2000 links to my competitor just to get them banned. You can not control who links to you and how many links you get and Google knows that in the "natural" linking world.

If I were going to submit a good number of links, then I would setup 10-20 link titles/descriptions before I submit.

From my mistakes in the past I would definitely classify it as spam.

Do it on different sites and at different times.

From my experience, all these 200 links will not be indexed immediately. It will be weeks before 90% are indexed. Always consider a 10% linking efforts wasted as some links will never be indexed.

Depends where they come from. But honestly you guys, think about it. If Google would drop your ranking because of a huge influx of links, then many people would spam their competitors to death. They're smarter than that, and they may not consider those links bad.

No, you cannot get banned, otherwise why do SEO? Just spam your competitor's links to death and knock them down one by one. It doesn't work that way. However, if you build a lot of links in a short period, it might temporily impact your ranking, more like a compressed spring effect in which your ranking falls as google is doing a bit of shufflling, and ranking gets updated after maybe 3 weeks. Consistancy is the key, if you build 200 links and then ignore it afterward, then it wont be good. Be prepared to build 200 links and 200 links or more to keep the ranking steady.

Going at a steady pace always proves to be beneficial for any link building activity. Any kind of bombardment is treated as spam. So be patient and go at a steady pace and refrain from activities that have a steep growth in your link popularity.

Every link should index by google, and non index links will not count to search engines and there is no problem. one think more, you have got links from same ip, that's not so good I think.
