PageRank finding tools?

Is there a tool available that would scan my website and tell me the PageRank of all the pages?

 

use SEO Quake for Firefox, and then type "site:yourdomain.com" on Google. Then, all the pageranks will be displayed.

 

Thanks for the tip man! I have used SEO Quake before, but never realized I could do that with the SERPs.

What I would like though, if it even exists, is a table-like structure that I could sort all the pages on my site by PR.

 

Why do you care? Unless you're planning on selling links, knowing the toolbar PageRank is worthless. The toolbar PageRank is out of date (only updated every few months) and it's not even used at all for ranking purposes. Google won't tell your page's "actual" PageRank, the version of PageRank that is used in ranking pages.

The PageRank of your URL has almost no bearing on how it ranks for a particular keyword phrase. It's keyword agnostic and only one of 200+ ranking factors. Your time could be better spent looking at your web analytics to find out which pages on your site are driving traffic what what keywords. Rankings and traffic are much better measures of your success from an SEO perspective than PageRank.

 

in firefox there are loads of these tools. my favourite is seo quake. but defo use the firefox browser for any SEO related stuff

social-media: I understand it is out of date. If anyone reads anything about SEO they know it, there is no need for constant reminders. That being said, I use the Toolbar PR as a QUICK check to see a ROUGH estimate of the PR. I use this info as such:

Say I have 50 pages in the same section of a site, all have different topics but still all related. Example, 50 pages in a CAMERA BRAND section, but all 50 pages feature a different CAMERA BRAND.

20 pages have PR 4, 20 have PR 3, and 10 have PR 1.

I'll focus some attention on the PR 1 pages to spruce them up, add related information, gain some links, and research some on-page SEO.

After that I'll move to the PR 3 then the PR 4.

IN MY EXPERIENCE, adding this type of research and work to your site only helps. This can't be the only way you work on your site. I use Analytics like crazy to dig deeper into my site, but I also attack it from many angles.

A tool like I mentioned would only help to visually stack and sort pages by PR.

If you have a lot of internal links like several thousand it will be difficult to get a good reading on them as most tools are limited. So if you have tons you might not get an automated report of your internal pr. You might have to do some manually if you are really curious. I usually stick and keep an eye on the more popular top level like 2 deep. After that they tend to drop of a bit.

Yeah I see the same thing... after 2 or 3 deep (3 is depending on quality of content), the PR definitely drops a lot.

In my own experiences, seo4firefox would be more effective for this purpose with the same search query on Google. Seo4firefox add-on would return all the PR with many other relative SEO factors for all indexed pages.

Install the Google PR toolbar in your browser. That's the easy way to go. You can check the PR of any pages anytime.

 

How reliable is SEO4FireFox regarding nofollow/dofollow? I'll often search using the "site:.edu inrul:blog comment" style query and 90% of the time, everything is showing as nofollow but there are always loads of comments with backlinks on these same sites. Are people that stupid to waste their time commenting on nofollow sites or is this FireFox plugin not 100% accurate?
