I see the code and feel like I'm back to 2000. The code is aweful. There are loose tags everywhere. You might want to remove those unwanted tags first. Why not go for a validation.

 

Can you guide me more on that?I know it's a old codes but still need to fix.Also where can i validate?

yes i will ..This code was written by some one and was doing favor to some one along with other work

 

yap guys, that code was really complicated, sadly there are full of 10years old templates everywhere on the net.
Since those are free, users just trying to fix something with no html knowledge, and then bad thing happens. Also if you're using Adobe DreamWeaver there's a high chance that your code won't be correct according to W3S validator

 

I don't see anything wrong. Did you fix it. Looks professional to me.

 

what will happen if you validate / don't validate your website with a validator? it means?

How important is it to validate your code? Try using the validation on Google, Yahoo, Face book and see how many errors you come up with!!! This does not really effect your rankings or search does it? Most of the websites on the web do not pay attention to the validation, as long as everything shows up fine in Firefox, IE, Safari and etc. across the board, why pay attention to the validation? Just wondering everyone's thoughts and future outlook of HTML and websites source code...

 

The thing is that Google, Yahoo, Facebook and those companies do not really need to pimp their sites anymore. The traffic is there, so there is no need for them to validate their code.

But YOU, with your NEW site, want to get traffic, want to make money, want to get a good search engine result, have to make sure that bot's are not stumblin' over your errors and can not crawl your site completely.

Even if validity would not be a ranking factor, you want to be better then your competitors (their sites are maybe full of errors).

"Webdesign companies" that have validation errors on their websites or still have an old-fashioned design with tables ... I can not take them serious. (Forgive me my english, please)

Even I am able to code according to w3c standards, and my business is NOT webdesign!

 

Stumbling over errors? Google web tools shows no stumbling errors for crawlers.
If you are NOT in the business for web design, how can you back up your claims?

 

Take them seriously?... are you the HTML validation yourself? No one even pays attention to this!!!
If you do the statistics, the NON validation sites out weigh the validation sites by FAR!!

 

According to the w3c website, there is a need for them to validate their code.....

Google is #1, they can do what they want. Facebook is huuuuge, they do what they want.

Your ambition, if you have any regarding xhtml validation, is much different, as I can read.
That's sad, you only deliver something for the eyes.

That's how I am.

Valid code is also something about cross-browser compatility. Too many people still use IE6/7 and IE itself is the worst browser ever.

Google yourself for SEO valid xhtml ... you will find a lot.

It's ofcourse up to you if you deliver valid XHTML or if you don't care about it. I care!!

 

You really need to clean up your code, it's abit all over the place at the moment. Although your design is actually pretty decent you just need to concentrate a little more on the structure of it!
