I read the fees rules of paypal and they stated it as:
    2.9% to 3.9% + $0.30

Now would it mean that 10 cents can actually never be received via paypal ?
If it is so what happens to 1 cent payments for trail offers ( remember hostgator 1 cent hosting or other similar trial offers )
I have not tried it, but if the receiving person recieves the 1 cent correctly. isn't it an adjustment in the fees formula ?

What do you think will be paypal fees for a transaction of 10 cents?

Though I have never received such amount myself, to have any first hand experience... but I guess, the entire amount would be consumed as fees and the receiver would not get any credit in his account!

Despite the formula 2.9% to 3.9% + $0.30 ?? I need a confirmed answer, possibly with an official paypal rule supporting the fact.

From My Experience of before 2 years, A Friend Tried Donating me from my Site Donate Button, and the amount was .01$.

So what happened is, the payment was not automatically accepted! It was set into Pending. And I had to manually accept it! The transaction details shows that fee is .01$ and thus the Amount =0.00$

It was worth a try! Atleast, due to that, i could explain this to you!

Busienss purpose transactions cannot be marked as gifts(such as originating form a website), and thus anything less than $0.30 would give 0!
