XML Site Map generator

Used for the first time this afternoon from xml - sitemaps .com their paid for generator - works brilliantly and pings the site map to google etc. very easy to set up (5 mins) and good value. thought i'd share.

 

its a good program though, im looking for a free sitemap generator... do you have suggestions

It is said to be one of the best for the paid version.
But since I can't afford to pay just to create a sitemap, I wrote my own at http://www.webrickco.com/buildsitemap.php. It works for me!
One of the best free I've is http://www.auditmypc.com/xml-sitemap.asp. Browsing speed is amazing.

 

I'm too low on funds. Any free sitemap enerator guys?

Is it possible that a sitemap can boost search engine traffic? I have no clue how it works, but signed up at your forum...

 

Here is what google had to say about sitemaps: "Sitemaps are a way to tell Google about pages on your site we might not otherwise discover. In its simplest terms, a XML Sitemap—usually called Sitemap, with a capital S—is a list of the pages on your website. Creating and submitting a Sitemap helps make sure that Google knows about all the pages on your site, including URLs that may not be discoverable by Google's normal crawling process." If I am intepreting this correctly, it means that more of your pages will be visible on a search.

Viewers the XML site map generator is best but its limited only generates site map up to 500 links but if you have any E commerce site having more then 500 pages then XML site map generator is use less in that condition if you want to generate a big site map use the g site crawler the best software for generate site map.

sitemapbuilder.net This is also free, but it is slow if your site has more than 25000.

 

xml-sitemaps.com is good if your website have less pages.

You can also try A1 Sitemap Generator if the others are causing you problems or you need to create some of google sitemap extensions (image, news, mobile etc.)
