Disadvantage of Social Bookmarking

is there any kind of disadvantage of bookmarking in the same social bookmarking site again and again for the same domain?
i have a site named as planetayurveda.com. i use to bookmark its 2 page daily in around 100-150 bookmarking sites. next day, again i submit next 2 pages in same bookmarking site. it means i submit around 200-300 bookmarks daily. should i change my method or it is ok??

no its ok just are just getting the backlink form bookmarks sites

 

Social bookmarking is always beneficial if u do it in correct way. It is the fastest way to get indexed in google.

 

I agree with shilpa SMO is very beneficial only when it done in wright manner.

 

hmm.. i suggest rather than sending the same link why don't ask for someone to digg or purk it. If you reach a specific amount of digg or purk, you'll link will be seen at first page, i guess you get more juice and more traffic for you.

Social bookmarking is Gud for traffic or ita harmlesss too.

 

I dont find any disadvantage for adding sites in social bookmarking sites. The only disadvantage is that if you are doing bookmarking of same websites continuously then social bookmarking sites can block your accounts.

 

Disadvantage could be wastage of time and resources if you are not doing it correctly!!!

I would say, try to convert your FANS or FOLLOWERS into customers, if you spend few hours every day on social sites and not generating any customers out of it. Then it would be better to work on other marketing ideas that bring some cash in.

Also, try to compare your efforts with other marketing techniques. e.g. If 4 hours a day on SEO OR SEM gives you 10 sales and 4 hours of social sites gives nothing then try to increase your sales and don't do social boomarking/networking just for the sake of doing it.

 

Just as the saying goes - Too much of everything is bad. So to much of social bookmarking is bad

 

Slow and steady wins the race. Please do only 50% of your present work not to get penalized from GOOGLE.

 

submit in dofollow social bookmarking sites.. no harm submitting the pages of the same domain as long as they differ in their urls.. with these you get backlinks from different pages.. but the links and urls should not be duplicate

 

Social bookmarking, in my experience works best when you remember the point of those sites. If you spend the same amount of time (less probably) engaging and making friends with others on those type of sites, when you do submit content they will Digg it for you which is much, much valuable then doing it yourself over and over again.

It sounds like a spam. Dont submit your url again ad again. You might be ban.

Dont ask. It just their choice (if your news is worthy or entertain), they will digg it automatically.

Try to submit in do follow bookmarking sites or in a high PR sites for ex. stumbleupon.com, mister-wong.com, delicious.com etc. But i think you are doing access of bookmarking , 60-80 bookmarking is quite enough. by this you will always safe from spamming.

No as per my best knowledge there is no disadvantage for doing bookmark in same site your multiply webkage related to same domin it;s allowed each page will treat each url for that case

I suppose it's ok but google does track your I.P address and if you are bookmarking from the same I.P address it will lower your score. One rule to remember is try and cover up your footprint as much as possible i.e post blogs, bookmark etc from behind a proxy server.
